Tithegrove’s Safety, Health and Environmental Management Department is directly responsible to the board of directors and formulates and implements our health and safety policy. Its purpose is to ensure compliance with legislation and provide a workplace that is safe and healthy for both employees and other people affected by our activities.

In co-operation with our business partners we promote best practice and establish, develop and monitor safe working methods and systems for the protection of all employees, sub-contractors and visitors in the work environment.

We attach great importance to the planned, effective training of our workforce, the adherence by sub-contractors to defined health and safety standards, the implementation of a ‘zero tolerance’ approach to breaches of legislation, and the regular monitoring of our operations by independent safety consultants. This enables us to ensure that our workforce is appropriately qualified, competent and safe.

Tithegrove is an accredited ‘Worksafe Contractor’.
